Have you ever regretted hiring someone because you based your decision in large part on how much she reminded you of yourself? Or, maybe because his hypothetical answers to your hypothetical questions seemed right on the mark?

The basic tenet of this methodology is to better understand a candidate’s past behavior. After all, the more you know and understand about someone’s past performance—specifically relating to skills/abilities necessary for the job—the better you are at matching the right person with your current opening.
A long-time HR and training director, Patt Karubus has successfully used this approach since the ‘80’s, and she has presented it to managers and supervisors in various organizations throughout the years.
