Description
Stirring the Waters: Finding the Place of Quiet Within
A Lenten Day of Reflection with Paula D’Arcy
February 23, 2013 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
How can we begin to understand the harmony and mystery of life, and experience that mystery from within? An inner place of quiet changes many things. Gifts you already hold become more visible, and you begin to glimpse who you might be if you were not afraid.
Join us on Saturday, February 23, for a day with Paula D’Arcy, internationally known author, retreat leader, and speaker. Her ministry grew out of tragedy. In 1975, her husband and 21-month-old daughter were killed by a drunken driver. Paula survived the accident and gave birth to another daughter six months later.
Paula D’Arcy is the author of several books including When People Grieve, Gift of the Red Bird, Seeking with All My Heart; and A New Set of Eyes. She is the founder of the Red Bird Foundation which ministers to people in prison, to the disadvantaged, and to those in need of healing.
