About Us
Oak & Heir is a concept-stage custom wood furniture showroom and community event space launching in the Wheaton, IL — designed to spotlight local master woodworkers and bring their craft directly to the communities where they live and create.
At its core, Oak & Heir is built around two things: beautiful handcrafted furniture and the people who make it. The showroom will serve as a curated marketplace where discerning buyers can discover and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces crafted by local artisans — while the adjoining event space creates a warm, welcoming gathering place for the community.
While we fundraise toward our first location, Oak & Heir is actively operating — refinishing and building custom wood furniture for clients who value quality, craftsmanship, and the story behind every piece. This work keeps us close to our artisans, our craft, and our customers as we build toward launch.
Founded by Chanelle, a 20-year veteran of client-facing and event planning, Oak & Heir is rooted in relationship, community, and an unwavering belief that handcrafted furniture deserves a permanent home in the suburbs of Chicago.
