Business Development Representative Position

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team to engage with the community through local chamber of commerce, manage our existing commercial client base, and foster new client acquisition.

The Role
As a full-time Business Development Manager, your role will be to develop relationships with prospective and existing clients. You will be the point person for our commercial customers and attend business development events regularly. You will be both an inside and outside sales team member as you enhance brand awareness through calls, meetings, attending events, and effective communication with clients, team members, and supervisors.
The Responsibilities
- Make monthly calls to existing major commercial clients and make quarterly calls to all existing commercial customers.
- Meet face to face with existing Local Commercial clients quarterly to enhance brand awareness.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities for business growth.
- Generate new business and help grow existing client base.
The Qualifications
- At least 5 years of prior Inside Sales Experience
- At least 2 years of prior Outside Sales Experience
- Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to speak publicly with confidence and poise.
- Proven ongoing account management and support to ensure customer retention.
- Proven experience with technology, sales, technical sales, or related field.
- Enhanced sense of self-motivation, dignity, and resolve.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Previous Business Development experience preferred.
- Driver’s License Required. Clean driving record, to be insured on company vehicle.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
- Weekends as needed for special events (approx. 3-5 annually)
- Evenings as needed for events.
- In the office 2-3 days per week and on the road within our service territory 2-3 days per week.
- 50% travel required in local territory in company vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
