UPDATE!! This event has been moved INSIDE to the Main Floor of the Wheaton Public Library due to weather. The Pet Parade is canceled and will be rescheduled.
The Wheaton Public Library (WPL) and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to host the "Wheaton Plaza del Zócalo," an outdoor event being held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, on the West Plaza of the library. The theme was inspired by the Frida Kahlo: Timeless Exhibition being held this summer at the College of DuPage.
The event will feature a Business Expo for members of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Wheaton Association as well as Frida-inspired music, food and a Frida Kahlo-themed Pet Parade. We designed the event to celebrate and share about our businesses with the community.
Thanks to all of our partners who are contributing to this event, including:
- City of Wheaton Community Relations Commission
- Downtown Wheaton Association
- DuPage Symphony Orchestra
- Immigrant Solidarity DuPage
- Two Bostons
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee and the Arts & Sports Tourism Committee of the Wheaton Chamber
To apply for a booth at the Business Expo, click here. The cost for a booth is $200; tables and chairs will be provided. Due to limited capacity, applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please call or email the Chamber with any questions.
