Description
The Annual Jonathan Blanchard Cook Oratorical Contest will take place on the Wheaton College campus. The contest is a persuasive speaking competition open to all Wheaton undergraduate students. Speech topics may be on any subject, but must be persuasive, entertaining, provocative and less than ten minutes long. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three speakers.
The contest, established by Jonathan B. Cook in 1928, was created to encourage superior public speaking.
