Description
First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton is hosting the live event entitled “A Walk Thru the Bible” on Sunday, September 29. The event, which begins during the 10:00 am Worship Service, will include a children’s program for youth in first through fifth grades. Following the Worship Service, lunch will be provided. The adult (6th grade – adult) program and kids program (1st – 5th grade) will begin at noon to pick up where we left off during the service and will walk us through the remaining books of the Old Testament. All programs will dismiss by 4:45 pm. Invite friends and family to join you to participate in this unique, fun, and educational opportunity. The event showcases WTTB instructors who are engaging and creative and effortlessly present the Old Testament Books of the Bible in a memorable way.
The program is hosted by Adult Education and Youth Ministries Programs at First Pres who have partnered with the Walk Thru the Bible team. The team’s mission is to “help people everywhere live God’s work and love God’s work.” The Walk Thru the Bible live events are unlike any other Bible teaching you have experienced. They “unpack the big picture of the Bible in an exciting, engaging, way that brings people together and ignites passion for God’s word.” The program is a one-of-a-kind, highly dynamic, memorable event that helps you understand God’s word and make the connection between His story and your story.
