Description
In contemporary spiritual practice great emphasis is placed on positivity. For good reasons positive thinking, affirmation, and abundance get a great deal of attention. The fact is that rightly approached such practices are effective. But why? What is it about the structure of our universe that responds to positivity? More importantly, what is the relationship between the use of the mind and our deepest aspirations? This evening, explore both the range of effectiveness for mental processes and what lies beyond.
Tim Boyd, president of the Theosophical Society in America (TSA), is a founding member of a spiritual community that was active in Chicago’s inner city for more than 25 years. His involvement with the Theosophical Order of Service and the Chushul orphanage in Tibet led to an audience with the Dalai Lama that resulted in the TSA sponsoring His Holiness' two-day visit to Chicago which was attended by ten thousand people. Tim also continues to lecture and conduct workshops internationally and throughout the USA.
