Description
It is a myth that the loss of balance and subsequent falls are a normal part of the aging process. In fact, many factors leading to the risk of falls can be modified. This presentation by Marianjoy physical therapists specializing in balance, falls, and dizziness issues, will explain the risks of falling, while offering valuable information on modifications and strategies to help you reduce and prevent falls. Exercises will be demonstrated and a free balance screening will be offered at the conclusion of the presentation. Space is limited.
