Terminal Town Kick-Off and Lecture

Description

Visit the Terminal Town exhibit at the Wheaton Public Library and then join Dr. Joseph P. Schwieterman as he discusses the exhibit and the rich transportation history of Chicagoland as well as his new book, Terminal Town: An Illustrated Guide to Chicago's Airports, Bus Depots, Train Stations, and Steamship Landings, 1939-Present. He will also explain how members of the community can get involved and win prizes. No registration required. After the lecture, the Terminal Town exhibit will be replaced with a special Wheaton-centric display of the city's history of transportation which will be up through December 7.
