Grace Williams’ little-known Trumpet Concerto is a stunning work that combines technical virtuosity, expressive melodic writing, and a distinctive blend of Welsh and British musical influences. This captivating creation from 1963 will be performed by Mary Elizabeth Bowden – Gold Medal Global Music Award Winner, Opus Klassik Nominee, and Yamaha Performing Artist.
To conclude our season, the DSO performs Leonard Bernstein's lively "Symphonic Dances" from West Side Story, and more!
