Description
INTRODUCTION TO MBTI AND CAREERS (June 21st 10:00-12:00)
Co-Presenters: Trisha Svehla, Managing the Mosaic and Dr. Cheryl Richardson, CBR Consulting
The MBTI is a self-assessment of personality type. It measures what energizes us as people; how we process information, make decisions and what type of structure or order we need to function effectively. Some things to remember about personality type: All types are good. There are no bad personality types; the preferences you select by your answers are neither right nor wrong; we use all functions but prefer to use one or the other set much like being right or left handed. One is more natural and effective for us; and personality preferences are genetic but as life develops, the environment can greatly influence the direction our preferences will take. Determine your Personality Type according to the Meyers-Brigg assessment and apply the knowledge to your career goals. Fee: $15 to cover the cost of the assessment tool. RSVP required.
