The J. Dennis Hastert Center for Economics, Government, and Public Policy hosts a candid discussion about the challenges and choices that face our nation in immigration matters. The event, titled "Immigration: The Good, the Bad, and the Possible." Offering perspectives in economics, enforcement, legal work status and biblically based treatment, panelists include syndicated columnist Ruben Navarrette, Jr.; former United States Attorney Paul K. Charlton; and World Relief Training Specialist Matthew Soerens. The J. Dennis Hastert Center for Economics, Government and Public Policy exists to advance the training of Wheaton College students and the greater community in the understanding of market economies, representative democracies, limited government and the redeeming effects of the Christian worldview on the practice of business, government and politics.
