Use it or Lose it: Minding Your Memory
Memory loss is a universal concern. What is normal and abnormal memory loss? What can be done to reduce the risk of memory loss? This presentation will answer these questions and offer tips for coping with memory loss and related issues.
One Continuing Education Hour will be provided to Nurses, Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors, Nursing Home Administrators and Physical Therapists. Please have your License Number with you so you can receive your Continuing Education Certificate at the presentation.
Daniel Kuhn, LCSW, is Vice President of Education at All Trust Home Care, with offices in Hinsdale and Deerfield. Since 1987, he has focused exclusively on dementia care issues and has been an educator in the field of health and aging in various settings in the Chicago area. He has authored more than 50 publications, along with his book Alzheimer's Early Stages First Steps for Family, Friends and Caregivers.
