Description
Wheaton Drama, Inc. (WDI) presents its fourth show of the 2010-2011 season, Arthur Miller?s Tony Award winning drama, ?All My Sons?.
As relevant today as it was when first produced, ?All My Sons? is a powerful story of guilt, secrets, morality, and families. Joe Keller and Herbert Deever ran a machine shop that made parts for World War II planes. Pressured to fill an order, Keller knowingly supplied the Army with defective parts, which caused the planes to crash, killing 21 men. When called to account, Keller engineered his own exoneration and falsely accused Deever. Now, Keller?s son is to marry Deever?s daughter, and Keller?s lie is revealed.
Performances of ?All My Sons? are March 25 through April 17, 2011. Shows are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $13 for Thursdays; $16 for Fridays ? Sundays. ?All My Sons? is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
Wheaton Drama will close its 2010-2011 season with the musical, ?1776?.
At play since 1931, Wheaton Drama?s quality productions are staged at Playhouse 111, 111 N. Hale Street in downtown Wheaton. For tickets and information, please visit http://www.wheatondrama.org, or call 630-260-1820.
