Description
Attorney W. Mark Lanier will deliver a lecture at Wheaton College titled "Christianity on Trial: The Gospel in the Public Square." The event is sponsored by the College's Billy Graham Center for Evangelism and Opus: The Art of Work. Mark Lanier is one of the most successful contemporary trial lawyers in the United States. He has won some of the most substantive judgments in U.S. history. "The National Law Journal" selected Lanier as one of the most influential lawyers of the 2000-2010 decade. With an undergraduate degree in Biblical and Classical Languages, Lanier has sought to integrate faith in all he does. His recently published book, "Christianity on Trial" (IVP Books, 2014), is a defense of Christian faith in the public arena.
