The Center for Applied Christian Ethics at Wheaton College and the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty will host two lectures on campus Monday, January 28. Both lectures will address the tough "What Next?" questions students face when considering the future and the pursuit of some version of "success."
Steve Garber, director of the Washington Institute for Faith, Vocation and Culture will present the first lecture at 4 p.m. titled "'What's Next?' Living Into a Faith that Shapes a Vocation that Shapes a Culture." The lecture will take place in room 339 of Blanchard Hall.
Bob Doll will present a lecture titled "Failure: The Surprising Stepping Stone to Success" at 7 p.m. Doll serves as chief equity strategist and senior portfolio manager at Nuveen Asset Management. Following the evening lecture, Dr. Philip Ryken, president of Wheaton College, will moderate a panel discussion with Bob Doll, Steve Garber and director of programs and international at the Acton Institute, Stephen Grabill. The lecture and panel discussion will take place in Barrows Auditorium, located in the east wing of the Billy Graham Center at 500 College Avenue in Wheaton.
