Historian Mark Noll will deliver a lecture titled “The Century Has Passed: Christianity Around the World in the Year 1900."
One of the Nation’s foremost scholars of religious and cultural history, Dr. Noll has been a professor of history at Notre Dame since 2006. Before coming to Notre Dame, he served on the faculty at Wheaton College for 27 years. While at Wheaton, Noll co-founded and directed the Institute for the Study of American Evangelicals. Author of numerous books, his most recent is The New Shape of World Christianity: How American Experience Reflects Global Faith (InterVarsity Press, 2009).
In this free lecture, Mark Noll will share his global perspective on one of the most fascinating, controversial, and significant centuries in history.
