Description
Sports concussions in athletes can have serious ramifications. Concussion symptoms include the inability to focus, headaches, dizziness, changes in personality and sleep disruptions. Playing sports too soon after a concussion may result in serious long-term symptoms, an increased risk of sustaining another concussion, and even death.
This presentation is important for parents, coaches, and educators alike. Learn what happens to the brain when a concussion occurs, the symptoms of a concussion, proper treatment approaches, and the use of ImPACT Testing (TM) to measure the severity of a sports concussion and the recovery time needed.
