Many nonprofits and for profit businesses may underestimate the importance of strategic business plan in achieving goals, stability, and the addressing the uncertainty of the external environment.  Come join other nonprofit and business chamber members to learn about the free service, resources, and support offered through Fox Valley Chapter SCORE.  SCORE is a national nonprofit organization composed of retired and semi-retired executives and business owners.  SCORE volunteers share their business experience and provide free business mentoring to anyone who is operating a small business or thinking about starting one.

·   Importance and elements of a strategic business plan leading to an effective elevator speech
·   Overview of SCORE’s website resources (National and local) and potential workshops
·   Brainstorming session with SCORE about Wheaton Chamber of Commerce needs
