The Philosophy Department at Wheaton College presents the third lecture in the 2013-2014 McManis Lecture Series. Dr. Luke Yarbrough will deliver the lecture titled "What Makes Our Actions Right or Wrong? Al-Ghazali's Islamic Virtue Ethics."Yarbrough is an assistant professor of philosophy at Saint Louis University, where he teaches courses on The Making of Islamic Societies, and Origins of the Modern World: 1500 to the Present. In Tuesday night's lecture, Yarbrough will discuss the influence of Muslim theologian Al-Ghazali (1058-1111) within the Islamic world.
