Title: What is Fair Trade?
Description: At its heart, fair trade is about building right relationships between buyers and sellers that are rooted in the principles of human dignity and solidarity. Fair trade products are produced and consumed based on principles of mutual respect, the common good, economic justice and global solidarity. Sr. Glenna M. Czachor, OSF, a Wheaton Franciscan Sister, will review the principles of fair trade, share some stories of coffee and cocoa producers, and show you how easy it is to find fair trade products where you shop! As a special treat - we'll be sampling fair trade coffee and chocolate!
Event is free and open to the public. To register or get more information, go to www.dupagecoffeehouse.org
