Are you married or in a committed relationship? Are you operating on autopilot? Do you need help in breaking unhealthy relationship patterns? If yes, then join Jack Berkemeyer, a licensed clinical professional counselor from the DuPage Pastoral Counseling Center, who is leading the workshop “Taking Back Your Relationship: Turning off Autopilot and Creating Intimacy.” St. Matthew United Church of Christ is sponsoring the two-hour workshop on Sunday, February 26 at the church located at 1420 S. Gables Blvd in Wheaton. The activities will include three presentations by Jack Berkemeyer, followed by one-on-one discussions between the couples allowing them to start putting into action the newly learned strategies. You can expect to learn new tools for handling conflict, start developing an atmosphere of affirmation in your relationship, and recognize that there are normal cycles of change in all relationships. The free workshop is from 3 – 5pm on Sunday, February 26. Couples of all ages are invited. Childcare is available. Registration deadline is Sunday, February 19. Contact Kathy at 630.665.1236 or email office@stmatthewucc.org. Please leave names, address, phone number, email, and the number of years in your relationship with one another. If requesting childcare, please leave your children’s names and ages. Visit www.stmatthewucc.org or https://www.facebook.com/StMatthewUCCWheaton for more information.
