DESCRIPTION:Woofin & Hoofin 5K and Doggie Dash\n \n Sunday\, June 19th\n\n 7:30 a.m. Doggie Dash Start\n\n 8:00 a.m. 5K Start\n \n 5:45 a.m. On-Site Registration Open\n Register Online at SignMeUpSports.com\n\n \n\n Woofin & Hoofin is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization designed from the ground up by Glenbard West High School students with the goal of making our community a better place to live - which includes creating a society free of animal cruelty & neglect. Enjoy a morning of fun in Newton Park while supporting these outstanding students and while helping homeless\, abused and unwanted animals. \n\n \n\n Proceeds from the Woofin & Hoofin 5K and Doggie Dash will be donated to the Friends of DuPage County Animal Care and Control Foundation. \n\n \n \n To-date\, Woofin & Hoofin has raised more than $7\,000 for DCACC's homeless pets. Let's help make Woofin & Hoofin an even greater success this year!\n \n \n \n \n Bring your dog out for a morning walk and help DCACC's homeless pets!\n \n ABOUT THE EVENT\n\n 5K: The USATF certified course allows runners of all levels to experience a refreshing summer run through beautiful Glen Ellyn. Get set to race or walk with runners of all ages.\n\n \n\n Doggie Dash: The 1-mile Doggie Dash lets dog owners of all ages enjoy a relaxing walk or a competitive race with their favorite pets. Designed specifically for dog owning participants\, the Doggie Dash lets you walk or run around Newton Park with or without a pooch.
