Hopko is dean emeritus of Saint Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in New York where he taught theology for more than 30 years. Author of numerous books and articles\, he was ordained as priest in the Orthodox Church in 1963\; Archpriest in 1970\; and Protopresbyter in 1995.\n\n\n\nThe lecture is sponsored by the Wheaton Center for Early Christian Studies.
