DESCRIPTION:Chamber Sponsors Candidate Forum\n\nMarch 14\, 2013 from 7-9PM\n\n\n\nAs part of its mission to its members and the community\, the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce\, together with the League of Women Voters of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn\, are pleased to present a moderated Candidate Forum for candidates seeking the election to the Wheaton City Council\, the CUSD 200 School Board and the Wheaton Park District Board.  The event will take place:\n\n\n\nThursday\, March 14\, 2013\n\nDoors Open 6:30 PM\n\nForum Runs 7:00-9:00 PM\n\nWheaton Community Center\n\n1777 S.  Blanchard Rd.\, Wheaton\, IL\n\n(Corner of Blanchard & Naperville Roads)\n\n\n\nCandidates in contested races will be given two (2) minutes each to address the audience with an opening statement which will be followed by each of the candidates for office answering questions from the moderator\, before each of the candidates being given an opportunity to make a closing statement. \n\nThe Chamber has been presenting these Candidate Forums in conjunction with the League of Women Voters for many years and we believe these Candidate Forums present our membership with a valuable opportunity to learn about the various candidates running for public office who have an impact on the business community.  Accordingly\, we encourage all of our members to attend and to submit questions to the candidate during the Candidate Forum on March 14\, 2013.\n\nFor those that cannot attend in person\, the Chamber has arranged for the Candidate Forum to be Live-Streamed over the web\, courtesy of WebRocket Video.
