DESCRIPTION:The Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Wheaton College offers a visual arts workshop teaching Gothic script calligraphy. Learn to create Blackletter and Gothicized Italic styles\, plus layout planning and lettering techniques for a favorite quotation. CSA Visual Arts faculty member Lauren Davies will lead the workshop. Davies began teaching calligraphy at the Community School of the Arts in 2003 and has experience teaching both fashion and advertising design at the College of DuPage. The afternoon class is designed for sixth graders to adults.
