DESCRIPTION:With autumn in full swing\, Wheaton's Gary United Methodist Church will be getting into the spirit of the season with its annual "Trunk or Treat" on Saturday\, October 26  from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will offer kids a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. Treats will be served from the trunks of church members' creatively-decorated vehicles. Games and food trucks on site will add to the festivities. Costumes are encouraged.\n\n\n\nThis year's Trunk or Treat will take place during Downtown Wheaton Association's "Boo-Palooza."  The public is invited to take the short walk to the church parking lot on Hale St\, right across from Memorial Park\, and have some great fun at this spooktacular event!\n\n \n\nAbout Gary United Methodist Church: Located just north of downtown Wheaton at 224 N Main St\, Gary Church is an active\, mission-oriented congregation with deep roots in the community going back over 160 years. Known for vitalizing and inspiring worship services\, the church incorporates a vibrant music program that offers choral\, instrumental and bell ensembles.  Programs are available to help children grow and learn together\, and the church's youth programs are exciting and challenging. Engaging and energetic educational and fellowship activities help adults grow in their faith and generate lasting friendships.
