DESCRIPTION:The idea of a "third eye" is wide-spread in modern spirituality. What is this "eye"? Some teachings relate it to one of the chakras\, while others identify it with the pineal gland. Its functions have also been described in a variety of ways. For some\, it confers the ability to see subtler energies\, while others state its awakening brings spiritual wisdom. Is there more than one "third eye" or the possibility of developing it on multiple levels? This talk will explore the Theosophical teachings regarding this important subject as well as the practices recommended to awaken its dormant functions.\n\n	Pablo Sender\, PhD\, became a member of the Theosophical Society in his native Argentina and has presented Theosophical lectures\, seminars\, and classes in India\, Spain\, England\, and the three Americas. His articles\, in Spanish and English\, have been published in several Theosophical  journals. Pablo is also facilitator for the Living Theosophy series.
