DESCRIPTION:This year\, it may be particularly difficult to prepare your heart for the coming of Christ and feel the joy of the season\, especially if you have lost a loved one or if you have experienced some other type of loss. Held on the winter solstice\, the longest night of the year\, this quiet\, meditative worship service not only makes time for remembering loved ones but also gives us an opportunity to share our hurting places with God. We invite you to this special evening of scripture\, music\, candle lighting\, and prayer. \n\n\n\nThe service will be available at garychurch.org\, on the Gary Church Facebook page\, and on Vimeo (search garychurch) at 5 p.m. and after on Monday\, December 21.
