The third annual "Little Patch of Heaven" Radio Show Fundraiser returns to the College Church sanctuary in Wheaton in March. The all-new script and music of the hit revue will be presented in two shows this year on Friday\, March 9th at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday\, March 10th at 3:30 p.m.\n\n \n\n \n The show will keep the audience laughin' and their toes a-tappin'. The appreciative crowd of more than 700 people gave last year's production rave reviews while donating more than $50\,000 to the local charitable cause. The family entertainment also features a dessert reception following the Friday night show.\n \n \n\n\n The Musical Moms are three local women with a vast array of talent and creativity. Also known as Jo\, Marcia\, and Robin\, they have been singing together for a number of years providing entertainment for churches\, women's retreats\, radio spots. and various community events. Their backgrounds include everything from Bluegrass to Opera\, Contemporary Christian to Southern Gospel and many styles in between. This eclectic mix guarantees a wide variety sure to please any musical taste.\n\n \n\n \n\n Todd Busteed\, a member of College Church and the owner of Gap Digital in Wheaton\, has spent the last 30 years of his professional life talking\, sometimes on radio\, sometimes on audiobooks or audio drama\, and occasionally at live events. Gap Digital is one of the only U.S. recording studios specializing in the production of long-form audio drama. The facility produced 144 half-hour episodes of a drama series titled Left Behind\, based on the best-selling book series of the same name. Left Behind is being broadcast on over 700 radio stations.\n\n \n\n The show is a benefit for STARS Family Services which was incorporated in 2008 to provide living arrangements and related services to adults with intellectual disabilities in the STARS ministry at College Church. The audience will be encouraged to make a financial contribution to the nonprofit organization.
