DESCRIPTION:LOMBARD-The DuPage County Health Department and the Village of Lombard are offering free CPR and AED training from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 in Lombard. The training is part of the Health Department's Start The Heart Initiative.\n\n\n\nThe training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated electronic defibrillation (AED) takes 45 minutes and a new session will start every 15 minutes.\n\n\n\nThe free instruction is not limited to Lombard residents. The training is called "Chain of Survival Basic Training" and is designed to give lay persons a basic knowledge of how to respond if they witness sudden cardiac arrest. LOCATION:National University of Health Sciences\, 200 E. Roosevelt Road\, Lombard. in the gymnasium in Building E Building E is north of the pond at the university and participants should use the west entrance. Parking is behind Building B (clinic) or Building C (library).
