SUMMARY:Ripon College Chamber Singers Concert at Gary United Methodist Church
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, January 7 at 7:30 p.m.\, Gary Church will be the final stop for the Ripon College Chamber Singers four-city Midwest tour.  Under the direction of John C. Hughes\, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities at Ripon College\, the group will also perform in the Wisconsin cities of Ripon\, Wauwatosa\, and Madison.  A few selections from their concert repertoire include "O Sing Joyfully" by Adrian Batten\, "Elohim Hashivenu" by Salamone Rossi\, "Und ob ich schon wanderte im finstren Tal" by Georg Schumann\, and "Thou\, O Jehovah\, Abideth Forever" by Aaron Copland. The concert is free and open to the public. A goodwill offering will be taken.
