DESCRIPTION:PAK has now hosted more than 100 children and their families over five sessions since December 2009.  Approximately 80% of kids in the program decreased their BMI! This is one of few programs to help kids who are struggling with unhealthy weight   and it is the only program that is FREE. PAK is growing to reach more kids in communities across DuPage County so stay tuned for a site near you!\n\n	The PAK PLAN is an innovative and personal life-changing experience offered at no charge to children ages 8-14 who are considered obese or at risk.   Designed by a respected group of health care\, education\, nutrition\, and athletic leaders\, it is much more than a simple diet or exercise program. It is a comprehensive\, all inclusive program to treat the whole child emotionally\, physically and nutritionally\, built around the stability and commitment of family. \n\n	WHAT: ProActive Kids   FREE program for kids struggling with unhealthy weight\n\n	WHERE: Wheaton Community Center\n\n	WHEN: September 19-November  11\n\n	TIME: 4:00 p.m.   5:30 p.m. (ends at 6:00 p.m. on Fridays)
