SUMMARY:Meditation Retreat With Ajahn Pasanno
DESCRIPTION:The Buddha said that nothing brings more benefit than the well trained mind. Through the practice of meditation we can explore the mind and gradually develop the beautiful silence\, stillness\, and clarity of mind that facilitates the arising of deep insight. This weekend retreat will give meditators the opportunity to fully explore the spiritual path and practice meditation in a conducive environment under the skilful guidance of Venerable Ajahn Pasanno. The schedule will include regular periods of sitting and walking meditation\, instruction and Dharma talks\, and time for questions. Tai Chi and Yoga sessions will also be offered.\n\n	\n\n	Ajahn Pasanno (Reed Perry) was raised in Manitoba\, Canada. He studied history at the University of Winnipeg. After graduating he spent some time traveling in India and Thailand. In 1974 he became a Buddhist monk and started his training under the Venerable Ajahn Chah\, one of the foremost Thai meditation masters. In 1982\, Ajahn Pasanno was appointed abbot of Wat Nanachat\, and became a highly respected Dhamma teacher in Thailand.
