DESCRIPTION:The Annual Jonathan Blanchard Cook Oratorical Contest will take place April 15. The speaking competition is open to Wheaton undergraduate students who wish to demonstrate their skill in persuasive speaking. After an open audition\, five Wheaton student finalists are chosen to give their 10-minute persuasive speech and vie for a monetary award of $400. The contest is a unique opportunity for the cultivation and testing of skill.
