DESCRIPTION:The Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Wheaton College offers an Italic Calligraphy workshop. The Visual Art Workshop\, taught by local artist Lauren Davies\, is designed for 4th-8th grade students. Using ink and a chisel edged pen to script a favorite quote or phrase\, participants will create a keepsake work of art by learning the legible and fun-to-flourish letterforms of italic calligraphy.
