In 2013\, Nancy and David Writebol moved to Liberia to join a medical team as missionaries with Serving in Mission (SIM). Within a month\, Nancy and another worker on her team discovered they had contracted Ebola and were evacuated to Emory Medical Center where they subsequently recovered. Nancy will share how her sense of calling sustained her during her infection with Ebola. Admiral Ziemer\, a 1968 graduate of Wheaton College\, is a retired Rear Admiral of the Navy. He will share stories from his personal leadership in the fight against Malaria as the U.S. Anti-Malaria coordinator under the Bush and Obama administrations.
