DESCRIPTION:Join us for this special monthly membership luncheon AND Not-for-Profit Expo!\n\n\n\nMany of our NFP members will be on hand to get to know you and your business\n\nand to introduce their organization\, mission\, volunteer needs and business needs to you!\n\nOur Luncheon will include a special presentation from\n\n\n\nCandace King \n\nExecutive Director\n\nDuPage Federation\n\nOn Human Services Reform\n\n\n\nHer topic - "Who are the New Neighbors?" \n\n\n\nCandace's background includes program development and administrative experience in a variety of human services programs in three states\, including administration of advocacy and family support programs serving people with disabilities\, low income and at risk families\, and the elderly. She has extensive training experience\, was the developer of the Federation's training on Planning for Linguistic and Cultural Competency and the co-developer and co-trainer of the Federation's Making the Connection training. She is also the author or co-author of the Federation's series of reports\, Profiles of Vulnerable Populations.\n\n \n\nShe holds a Master's degree in Public Administration (Health Administration) from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts from Barat College\, as well as an interdisciplinary certificate in early intervention from George Mason University and Virginia Institute on Developmental Disabilities.\n\n\n\nBring a guest and be entered into a drawing for a\n\n$25 Downtown Wheaton Association Gift Card
